B.A.T. II: The Koshan Conspiracy

Computer's Dream, 1992

This sequel is a vast improvement upon the first of the series, for it boasts a more intuitive interface, greater options for exploration and a developing plot that holds the gamer’s interest at every turn.

As a spy for B.A.T., you embark on a mission that brings you into contact with dozens of colorful characters and locations. All locations are available from the start, giving the player remarkable freedom.  The very large world would be a marvel if travel were a bit easier. Finding items you need can also be rather difficult, as there are so many stores and locals to explore. And while the interface is greatly improved, the game allows you to pick up dozens of items that are never used.  Still, these problems seem minor in the face of the games overall enjoy-ability.
