Steve Meretzky's first game since Infocom's demise, this Legend title plays more like a choose-your-path novel than it does a standard adventure. Play as Ernie Eaglebeak, a Sorcerer University's apprentice wizard who wants to be a Sorcerer so he can wave his wand in front of beautiful girls only to impress them and watch them swoon. Sorcerer University offers everything to fresh wizard-in-training but, let us see if you can help Ernie avail these offerings. The game does have graphics, but they can be toggled off and on with a keystroke, if desired. The game has a no-typing interface with all text displayed and the dialogue is a marvelous example of Meretzky's humor and writing talent. The game can be played in one of two modes: Naughty or nice! Fans of Steve Meretzky's interactive fiction should not miss this title.
